The St. Louis Six, as our group traveling to St. Louis became to be known as boarded our van early Saturday morning excited about meeting with our host teachers and meeting all of the students and teachers at our respective schools. Along the way, the city faded into a desolate landscape and we saw some interesting sights such as herds of goats roaming about, monkeys crossing the road and magestic trees known as Boabab trees, like the one pictured below.
Upon our arrival to the Hotel de la Residence in St. Louis, we were greeted by our host teachers and In Country Consultant and shared a lovely meal.
